ok. so im a senior in high school and a couple of friends and i are talking about taking a one month trip to europe this summer. my parents said they would pay for my plane ticket and my eurail train pass for the trip. i was wondering how much money i will need just for food and i plan on staying in youth hostels the whole time, not any expensive hotels. also i will probably need a little extra to pay for any extra things i will need.

Trying to plan the costs of a 2 week trip to europe, flight from Boston to Amsterdam, two days there. Train from Amsterdam to Munich, there for three days. Train from Munich to family near Milan, there for 7 days. Train from Milan to Amsterdam, night in Amsterdam, and flight back to Boston. I want to make sure I have all the general expenses of a trip like this, and any averages on the costs would be helpful ( i plan on staying in hostels in Amsterdam and Munich)
