My friends and I are planning a trip to New York in February. There will be eight of us total. We'd like to stay somewhere fairly economical and safe. I've priced staying at the Wellington and the Courtyard Marriott at the Laguardia Airport. The Marriott is less expensive by about $100. We are only staying for a few days. We'd like to do a bit of sightseeing, but mostly shopping and dining. Which hotel would be better and why? Or if you have any other ideas I would love to hear them. Thanks!
