For airfare, try the various airline websites, like and some of the US airlines.

For hotels and other accommodation, try or the Irish tourist board website.

And for the cost of taking in sights, try the tourist board website and.

For a good evening meal with wine, you'll pay 50 euro per person plus. Eat in pubs that do meals, it's a bit cheaper.

(in euro) 400 for the flights (check delta, continental and aerlingus), average 40 per person sharing for decent accommodation, 30 per person per day for food, 10 per person per day entrance fees, public transport etc, 50 per day car rental... then of course depends what you like to do

Depends on where you are going? Aer Lingus are doing a sale at the moment, delta and continental do good deals also, approx €350 return at this time of the year. Maybe look up or ebookers.ie for flights as they do a search across all airlines and hotels for the best prices. For hotels there are loads of Dublin hotels or Country Irish Hotels, some really nice 4 star hotels that are doing great deals and cheap prices online, best is to google search areas and see whats the best rate you can get.

If you travel off-peak and take advantage of an aerlingus deal, you can get a flight for under 500euro, but that is pretty cheap. If you take a popular flight or go in the middle of the summer, you'll be lucky to get a flight for under 1K.

If you stay in a hostel or budget hotel, you will pay 40-60 euro. A decent budget hotel costs upwards of 90 per night (Jury's Inns are a good bet). BB accommodation is more reasonably price and usually of a decent standard. You can book all of these on

If you buy food in a supermarket or eat at McDs you can save a fortune. Fancy restaurants are expensive, even plain pub fare can run to 20euro a head for dinner.

Everything is much cheaper outside Dublin. The smaller the town, the cheaper the services.
