We are mainly interested in a relaxing, romantic few days with nice scenery and interesting monuments, buildings, etc, to see.
What are your views on these cities? Which would you rank as the better of the two?
I have been to both cities being an American living in Switzerland - I have to say Zurich. Geneva is nice if you want to see the UN or the Red Cross Museum; but Zurich always has different things going on and has the most amazing scenery. I suggest going up to Uetliburg if you decide to go with Zurich from there you can see the whole city from atop this tower its breath-taking.
Zurich for sure - it is fantastic, the buildings and the people, the veiws of the Alps and the wine soup, the night life and the the chocolate - I would go back to Zurich again and again - simply beatuiful!!! Watch the old boys play chess, take in the breathtaking views and the general relaxed atmosphere of the city. Have a wonderful time. x
