You will definitely have the best time in NYC! Check out some hostels to stay at. There is a nice one on 14th st. and 2nd ave. and there are bars and clubs and food everywhere you go! Some of the best places to check out are Crocodile Lounge on 14th St., Two Boots Pizza (a couple locations throughout the city), check out the meatpacking district for expensive drinks and crazy clubs (around west 14th and 8th ave.) and run around central park for beauty and people watching. You can go on some fun long pub crawls just by walking around any neighborhood! Have fun!
why go out the country come to blackpool x if your gonna go to the states go to L.A its the best place.

New Orleans is fantastic, as is Los Vegas ...but there is nothing like NYC it is truly the city that never sleeps. Rest up now.
Take a look at gothamist.com for clubs and things that will be happening while you are in town. The Village Voice is also a good source of info. Not sure what you are into or up for - but you will find it. Too many places/things to list. Have fun, stay out of jail, live to tell about it.
Downtown is more fun than uptown, general rule of thumb for Manhattan. Brooklyn s very safe for tourists these days so swing by there as well if you have time.
