Lots of things to do on a holiday in Turkey

Before you travel to Turkey, try to plan your days to ensure you see everything possible. Turkey is one of the top holiday destinations. There are plenty of things to do in Turkey?

  • Turkey is famous for its great hotels, so enjoy them as much as possible. If you go for a high star hotel, you will find it has lots of activities. If you want a little bit of luxury try a 3-4 star hotel which often have access to watersports, spas, Turkish baths, bars and restaurants.
  • Boat trips are great in Turkey and are a really popular activity. If this sounds like a trip you'd like then take a look at the harbour for all the boat trips. Depending on what you want to do, you will find the perfect boat trip for you.
  • There are so many activities to enjoy in Turkey. Turkey is full of historical and cultural attractions including Pamukale. The other is Ephesus an ancient ruined city where Plato is thought to have lived. This is an experience unlike any other and something that anyone over the age of 10 will enjoy on Turkey holidays, children younger than this may find the heat too oppressive.
  • Enjoy some of the local cuisine – Turkey is famous for its kebabs and you should sample some of the traditional food whilst on holiday there. There is some yummy food options making it difficult to choose what you want. Try not to enjoy it so much, otherwise your bikini may not fit you by the end of the holiday!
  • A Turkish evening is perfect if you want an exciting evening with entertainment including belly dancing. Make sure you enjoy this evening to the full, and take to the floor yourself. You will also be able to sample some of the local drink Raki which is quite potent – so be careful!
  • Camel rides are popular in Turkey, and will help you see the sights without getting tired on your feet.
