Why do i need to sketch and paint again?

May 30th, 2009 — 09:51 pm
baby jesus asked:

Up until the age of 18 i used to sketch and paint everyday. Stuff, silly stuff. Cartoons and lettering and jokes. I though i had grown out of it… I went abroad to study and ended up staying here since. I’m now 27 and i’ve recently visited my home country for a long holiday. It had been 6 years since i had spent time with my old friends and family. Now suddenly i need to sketch again?? Why?? Its like wanting to play with toys again! What the hell am i suppose to draw anyway, i’m not a kid anymore? Why do i have this urge now?

City Breaks In Cambridge and Facts You Should Know

May 27th, 2009 — 11:09 pm

Cambridge is widely known all over the earth as being the home of the University of Cambridge, one of the finest learning centres in England. The University includes some 31 colleges including; Christ’s College, Churchill College, Clare College, Clare Hall and Corpus Christi College which have a major impact upon the city. Although large numbers of people arrive at Cambridge with their main intention being to view the University, Cambridge has so many more places to visit besides the colleges of the University.  Happily there is a varied selection of Cambridge bed & breakfast accommodation to choose from (Important: for more information see bottom of article).

Cambridge dates back to the medieval period and because of this there there are numerous examples of fantastic architecture. You may walk amongst the ancient streets, relax one of the various parks and gardens or you could take a punt up and down the river. If the idea of punting takes your fancy, then you can rent a punt or for something a little different one can rent a chauffeured punt. There are numerous organisations offering this facility along the River Cam. Otherwise a cruise up the River Cam in a narrowboat.

Cambridge is also widely known for its churches, 13 of which are situated within the city’s boundaries. Of the thirteen churches found in Cambridge town centre it is All Saints Church which is said to be one of the best examples of Gothic revival architecture in England. Another church which you must visit is Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is one of only four round Norman churches located in England. The tiniest church in Cambridge is the Church of St Peter’s, which is hidden away in a tranquil part of the city. Possibly the most spectacular panoramic views of the city and University colleges are to be experienced from the viewpoint of the University church, the Great St Mary’s Church.

As there is a vast collection of visitor attractions to see in Cambridge, it would be virtually impossible to visit all of them in just 24 hours.  We therefore strongly advise that you spend at least two days in Cambridge. If you and your family are currently considering taking a break in Cambridge it is vital that you reserve your  accommodation at the earliest opportunity because, sadly hotel accommodation in Cambridge tend to be surprisingly busy and are frequently fully booked for weeks or even months in advance. If your group is large you might find that Cambridge apartment accommodation prove to be reasonable option.

UKBarbados Queen! asked:

i was thinking about going bankrupt or getting an IVA to help clear my debt. My partner is from Barbados and we are living between the UK and Barbados.

If i went bankrupt will this affect me getting long term stay in Barbados on holiday visa, me getting a work permit, and eventually residency??

Does any of the above affect other countries too ie. going to the USA, Australia, Europe??

Thanks

I need help with a holiday capsule wardrobe?

May 27th, 2009 — 03:05 am
tigerfly asked:

I’m going to Houston for 3 weeks to stay with my Dad. Obviously I can wash and dry whatever I want and I have my own room so I don’t have to worry about wardrobe space. The main problem is I always take too much. I can’t imagine taking any less when I pack but usually I come home with some things unworn. It’s a little different this time because I’m going for such a long time. We plan to travel a little during my stay, and I know we’ll go to a few cocktail parties.
My biggest problem is taking far too many pairs of shoes. For example, on my packing list I have: 1 pair of lilac knee boots, 1 pair of black knee boots, red wedges, pink diamonte sandals, wooden soled clog-things, black stilletos, trainers, flip flops.
HELP ME!
Wait, more shoes: Cowboy boots (obviously), slippers

Should my puppy come on holiday?

May 25th, 2009 — 02:40 pm
immie123 asked:

I have a 13 week old chihuahua puppy and I am going on a 5 day holiday. It will be about 7 hours drive to get there and we will be staying in a little log cabin in the woods. I have no concern about when we get there because the dog can stay with us almost all the time as it’s just a relaxation holiday.
I’m worried about the car journey. The dog can stay with my parents, although I would absolutely love her to come. It sounds stupid but I want the dog to be well used to me and my partner as well as going places with us, however I don’t want to be cruel. Someone told me it’s unfair to let a puppy travel such long distances even with constant driving breaks.
I have no experience in this and know little about travelling with puppies – anyone advice?
New to this thing, not sure how to reply. Thanks for all the advice. Yes the puppy is fully vaccinated but the vet advice is another good idea I will ask the vet what he thinks too.
She hasn’t had much car travel I will take her on a few short journeys and see how she reacts to it. If she is settled I will most likely take her. Thanks for the great answers!

What junior golf schools are there in South Africa for teenage boys who wish to make a career in golf?

May 24th, 2009 — 01:02 am
MICHAEL asked:

My son is 15 years old, and desperate to get professionally trained, preferably with a scholarship. With no professional training, and only able to play weekends, he has come down to a 9 handicap in one year. He has the skills, and has the determination and character to put in the sweat to make a success and become a professional. He eats, sleeps, dreams, thinks golf, and he needs a break to pursue his dream.

Can I send holiday home (mobile) movies in an email?

May 22nd, 2009 — 08:38 pm
scottish_lass asked:

I only have 2 email addresses, one with Yahoo the other with MSN. I have tried both to attach my movie (avi) files onto an email with no success at all. Both say they are *uploading file* but it just stays like that and the files are never uploaded, one said *uploading file* for 20 minutes, so I gave up. The holiday movies are not very long (about 5-10 minutes if that).

Please help, my friend wants a copy of them. Is there ANY way I can send the movies by email at all?

Thanks :)
