hi there, my boyfrind is taking me to his parents cottage up in scotland for a valentines weekend trip, the cottage is in the highlands of scotland not sure where, all i know is he said the weather gets really really cold, especially as it is a cottage, with heating that doesnt work too well, i dont have a clue what clothes to take and what to wear, iam also one who hates cold weather, i want to look cute for him but warm at the same time, so i would imagine many layers, but i dont really know

Okay guys still find you cute if you’re warm and snuggly….the only thing you need to avoid is looking like you have put on 2 stone of weight in a clothes change.
I’d say pack a fair amount of jeans to be safe…UGG boots are in this season too (tuck jeans into UGGs)…take a coat, but not a long one (preferably black, same with boots to match)…pack a nice one-coloured scarf, probably a nice bright colour to cheer everyone up…and some bright gloves from Claires Accessories (you can get rainbow-coloured gloves from there)…for when you are inside, pack plenty of cute jumpers and hoodies too.
Bit cold for the Miss Whiplash outfit at this time of the year (LOL)!
