Me and my friend want to go and stay in America for a while (maybe 1/2 months, however long we can) We want to go somewhere nice but cheap, not Florida, because my friend doesnt want to go there! Somewhere easily accessible to famous sites, places etc,
Thanks. x

Try Los Angeles. I have been and because of its popularity you will be able to get a good cheap flight and a cheap motel. The sights that are really worth seeing are Beverley Hills, Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood and Universal Studios. A trip you will never forget.
California is really tourist friendly and if you rent a car and drive around there are a number of fun, free things to do and see.
If you go to Northern CA you can see San Francisco, Pier 39, Chinatown, Cable cars, Golden Gate Bridge. You can see Muir Woods, Point Reyes, Drive down to Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur (along Hwy. 1). North of SF Bay area is Napa, and Calistoga, head East (In land) and do Yosemite, Calaveras Big Trees, Lake Tahoe. That right there is enough to fill at least a week or more and there are so many more possibilities.
If I had time I would find links to all these things for you but they are pretty easy to google. Here's a link to a nice website where you can order a travel brochure
Well, if you are wanting to see and do more outdoorsy type things, then I would HIGHLY recommend Utah. You can fly into Salt Lake City, rent a car, visit 2002 Winter Olympic venues, drive down to southern Utah and check out a bunch of National Parks... You will be blown away by how much Utah has to offer!
