My sons passport expires a few days after we return from Majorca – is this a problem? Can he travel?

Keery asked:

We are going away to Majorca for a week or so around easter, but we return before his passport expires in April. Some countries require 6 months on your passport - does anyone know about Spain? We went there in Feb and he had no problems.

i think it would be best to check with the passport agency....just to be on the safe side.

Are you in the UK I take it? Yes he can travel. It is a TEN YEAR passport, not a 9 year, 10 month and 2 week passport.

As far as I know you will be fine (or your son will be). Have a look here to double check.... As far as I am aware, because you are travelling in Europe you can come back with just a day on your passport... 6months is for the likes of USA, Australia etc. Have a great time :)

You need to check. Some destinationa insist you have at least 6 months to run on a passport so it depends.♥

You should be fine if the expiration date is AFTER your due date to return. But, it won't hurt to double check on that just to be on the safe side.
