Hotel de Blois.
Not sure how it compares to the Eurostar station. Very nice place. Quiet and politely run. Excellent breakfast served virtually family style. One drawback is that there is no elevator and the stairs are somewhat steep. But, I guess that's pretty well typical of most of Europe!

Plenty of grotty rooms near the Gare du Nord. Try to Left bank instead. Check out the internet for places near St. Germain.
St Marys Hotel! I stayed there its great, affordable, and the metro is down the road!
