The lads and lasses in the bar looked only to see what the disturbance was, and went back to their good times, mostly ignoring the Texan…except one man…He got up and walked out.
Feeling victorious, the Texan sat at the bar and ordered the tallest Black and Tan and boisterously bragged the next hour away, when suddenly, the man that left returned and asked if anyone had taken up his challenge.
The Texan replied, No, and I figured none of y’all could do it anyway.
The Irishman said he’d like to try it. So within a few minutes, 24 pints were lined up on the bar, and onlookers were suddenly curious.
The gentleman finished every drop of every stout…and with ten minutes to spare.
The Texan, humbled, reached into his wallet and proudly paid of the man.
As he paid the man, he said, I am pleased to give you your prize, but I have one question…Where did you go when you left?
